What is CBD?

All of Mir’s CBD tinctures have an easy-to-use dropper in every bottle

CBD is short for cannabinoid (AKA phytocannabinoid).
The human body has more endocannabinoid receptors (ECS) and responds well to CBD oil. (hyperlink to blog by us or a third party blog or study on oxidization of the body, arthritis, anti-inflammatory, autoimmune diseases, Parkinson’s, anxiety, etc.).
Full spectrum CBD oil offers an array of terpenes, flavonoids, and phytocannabinoids that all factor into the overall wellness benefits people experience. Mir ensures all of our products are full spectrum.
The CBD isolate is when the CBD oil has been reduced to a powder form. It was thought the isolate made the benefits of the CBD strong, but studies now show the process destroys some of the terpenes and flavonoids of the oil losing some of the benefits of the CBD oil.
Industrial hemp is part of the cannabis family, but it is a cannabinoid and does not produce psychoactive levels of THC.
Only industrial hemp is used in Mir’s products. Mir’s industrial hemp is grown without the use of herbicides and pesticides through sustainable farming practices in the bluegrass state of Kentucky.
Mir’s CBD oil is extracted from the flowers of the Industrial hemp plant. Each flower has tiny individual cones. Within each cone is the oil that is extracted for the CBD oil.
The seeds of the industrial hemp plants are cold pressed to produce hemp oil. Hemp oil is different from CBD oil. Hemp oil has it’s own benefits and is known as a natural blood thinner, raises good cholesterol, and lowers bad cholesterol-just to name a few.
